Martin Morris leaves little doubt he's back in form!
last sunday Martin lost to Dean but failed to report it. Today Martin was back in form, beating Martin James and Andrey 6-4.
Andrey beat boban on friday 7-6, but lost to Thampy and Martin, both 6-4. Also lost to Richard a few days ago.
Nigel beat Christopher 6-2, 6-1. (Nigel beat me 6-2 and then to prove it wasn't a fluke beat me again 6-1, still it was an enjoyable game in the searing heat. Kind regards, Christopher)
Boban beat Richard Foley 7-5, and Nigel 6-3.
also played: Thampy v John -?, Dick v Alan ?
--------
I played Stephen White on Saturday on a public court in Old Windor. The court had recently been repaired in sections - any ball landing on a new 'patch' bounced 2m high, but only bounced 1m high on the old ..... hmmm, interesting!
Anyway, I managed to cope better & beat him 6-1, 6-3.
Regards, Mike Ward

Boban,
Yes, the Silver Fox is back....but was he ever away, that is the question?
I managed two sets on Sunday, beating Dick in the first 6:1 and then a sound defeat to Thampy 2:6...thus maintaining my middle order status, creeping up now above Dick I believe?
Will be a bachelor from July 14-Aug 14th so expect to be more presewnt at the club and try and get back in the hunt in the top of the order, back permitting.
Just for the record Boban as a New Zealander (not South African) this sunny weather is notthe problem....rather lack of play which will be rectified now that the Lions Rugby tour/lesson is over I can get away from Sky TV...although now the Tri-Nations series beckons.
Anyone for Pilates lessons?
John
