Can Rafa finally complete his Grand Slam collection?

Rafael Nadal has already shown US Open 2010 betting pundits that he is going to be one of the all time greats in the world of tennis, with very few players ever having shown that they could have competed with him on his favoured surface of clay. That said, though, he has always had a slight cloud hanging over his claims to greatness because he has never quite made it on hard court surfaces.
OK, so Rafa has done alright on hard court surfaces; he triumphed in Beijing, and he has one Australian Open title under his belt, but is that enough to be considered the game's greatest representative? Frankly, no. However, should Rafa end his career with a few more hard court surface victories to his name, he will have given himself a decent chance to be considered retrospectively as worthy of mention in the same breath as his great rival, Roger Federer.
The question is, how exactly can Rafa start this process? Well, winning the next two Grand Slams (the US Open and the Australian Open), which are both on hard court, would help him on his way, that's for sure. However, in order to achieve this ambition, he is almost certain to have to overcome the challenge of beating both Federer and Andy Murray, a man who has repeatedly shown himself to be far more capable when it comes to hard court than any other surface.
With the season nearly at an end, and Rafa having enjoyed two Grand Slam successes already this season, those looking at US Open tennis odds will be keen to see whether Nadal can show that he has made a step up in his hard court game and is now capable of triumphing in the Big Apple.
