In his first match since retiring 16 years ago, Ivan Lendl looked nearly as fit as the man who dominated tennis in the 1980s. His game, however, wasn’t nearly as sharp.

Lendl committed a string of unforced errors and lost to former rival Mats Wilander 6-3 in a one-set exhibition match in the Caesars Tennis Classic on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall.

Roger Federer will attempt at this year's Tennis Masters Cup to join Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl as the only players to win five circuit finale titles.
