Davis Cup - Almagro in Spain team

Spain captain Albert Costa has called up Nicolas Almagro to replace the injured Juan Carlos Ferrero in the champions' team to face Switzerland in their Davis Cup first-round tie starting on Friday.
Former world number one Ferrero, who lost to compatriot David Ferrer in the final of the Acapulco International event on Saturday, has been suffering from a wrist problem and also has a left knee injury, Costa said in a statement.

Almagro, the world number 27, joins Ferrer, Tommy Robredo and Marcel Granollers for the March 5-7 home tie on clay at the bull ring in Logrono.
