Ana Ivanovic buys a house in Mallorca for 4,5 million Euros

Several days ago, the Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic bought a luxurious villa in Mallorca, which, according to the Spanish media, cost 4,5 million Euros. The house is located in an exclusive area Son Vida in the hills above Palma de Mallorca, so Ana is not legging behind the fellow Serbian tennis players Novak and Jelena who already have houses on exclusive locations.

Ana’s villa was built in 1998. The total plot occupies about 6,000 square meters, of which currently built-up area is 950. The villa has two levels: the ground floor consists of a spacious living-room, kitchen with breakfast area, master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom. The first floor includes four bedrooms with balconies and three bathrooms and there is also a separate staff apartment including a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Ana Ivanovic, currently in a relationship with the Spanish tennis player Fernando Verdasco, spent last summer in Mallorca and decided to buy a house on this island located in the Balearic Islands archipelago. During her visit, Ana made a choice to purchase a villa, but negotiations with a real-estate agency were not successful. This time, Ana negotiated with another real estate agency and finally has become the owner of the modern villa. Ivanovic has already started decorating the villa and two days ago she flew to Madrid to meet Verdasco.

Other famous Serbian tennis players also invest their money in real-state. Jelana Jankovic, who already has a villa in Miami, is currently having her dream house built in San Diego.
“The house will be finished in a year and a half and it will have everything that I’ve ever wanted. Gym, swimming-pool, tennis court, spacious room, huge garage, mini cinema hall… I think that real-estate is a good investment, because one should think about future.

Money disappears quickly and easily, you know, but high-quality houses will always have high prices. Who can you sell expensive shoes and bags to? Although I don’t know where I am going to live in Europe or America after my career finishes, it is great to have houses in different parts of the world,” said Jankovic, adding that she is a great spender.
“I love to spend money, especially by credit cards. I simply enjoy it,” Jelena said.

Since 2005, Novak Djokovic has been an owner of a luxury flat in Monte Carlo, which has become a popular destination of numerous celebrities, like Ringo Starr, Karen Mulder, Eva Herzigova, David Coulthard and Jenson Button (Formula 1), as well as of many sportsmen, actors…

“The most important thing for me is that I live in the city which offers me everything I need and where I can have my own peace,” Djokovic said in an interview.
