Henin reaches final in front of home fans
World number one Justine Henin reached the final of the WTA tournament in Antwerp on Saturday but had to rally from a set down to beat Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland.
Qualifier Bacsinszky gave Henin a real scare before the Belgian prevailed 2-6 6-3 6-3.
In Sunday's final, Henin will play China's Li Na or Karin Knapp of Italy, who play their semifinal match later Saturday.
Henin, disappointingly beaten in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open by eventual winner Maria Sharapova, is playing in her home country for the first time in five years.
It is likely to prove her last tournament on home soil as the Diamond Games event ends its run due to a calendar change.
Henin, who has won 40 titles and seven grand slams, has never won a tournament in Belgium.
Bacsinszky had reached the semifinals after third seed Daniela Hantuchova retired due to a respiratory illness while trailing 4-1 in the deciding set.
