Russia's Dmitry Tursunov has pulled out of this week's Davis Cup quarter-final against Israel after failing to recover from an ankle injury.
Russia captain Shamil Tarpishchev has called up world number 35 Igor Kunitsyn (pictured) to replace the 25th-ranked Tursunov, who sprained his ankle playing in the final of the Eastbourne tournament last month.

The Russia team, already missing their top player Nikolay Davydenko, includes former world number one Marat Safin, now ranked number 60, Igor Andreev (24) and Mikhail Youzhny (69) for the July 10-12 encounter in Tel Aviv.kinit
