Roddick to play at Queen’s Club before Wimbledon
Andy Roddick will play in the Wimbledon warm-up tournament at Queen’s Club, where he has won four titles.
The American won the Queen’s Club grass-court title from 2003-05 and again in 2007. This year, he will face a challenge from defending champion Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray.
Roddick has twice followed up wins at Queen’s Club with an appearance in the Wimbledon final, losing in 2004 and ’05 to Roger Federer.
Roddick says Wednesday that last year, injuries had him “a little under-prepared” going into Wimbledon. He has been relatively injury-free so far this season.
