Sampras, Blake To Face Off For Hurricane Aid

Americans Pete Sampras and James Blake will go head-to-head for the first time when they play at the "Duel Under the Oaks II" charity exhibition at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on Sunday, December 14. Proceeds from the event will benefit non-profit organizations aiding those impacted by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

The line-up for the exhibition additionally features 16-year-old American pro Ryan Harrison, LSU's No. 1 player Michael Venus and top wheelchair tennis players Stephen Welch and Jon Rydberg. Welch and Rydberg recently competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing
The 'Duel Under the Oaks Hurricane Relief and Recovery Fund' awards grants to Gulf Coast area non-profit organizations and programs that shelter, feed and provide necessities to people impacted by the storm. The fund will also provide grants to organizations that aid residents returning to the impacted areas.

Sixteen-year-old pro Ryan Harrison, who won his first ATP match in April at Houston, will face off against Michael Venus, currently ranked number one on the men’s LSU tennis team, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center
