Heavy rain halted second-round action from the Toronto Masters.
Spain's world number five David Ferrer was a game apiece with American Robbie Ginepri, while clashes between Tommy Haas and Nikolai Davydenko, and Marin Cilic and Tommy Robredo were halted without score.

The opening matches of the day had already been delayed by over an hour because of the downpours.

Later in the day Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal is due to play another American, Jesse Levine, while British number one Andy Murray is set to be tested by Swede Thomas Johansson.

World number one Roger Federer faces Gilles Simon in the evening clash, which was due to start in the early hours of Thursday morning.
